Issuing False and Misleading Press Releases is a very serious matter.

In getting the SEC to undertake an investigation all one must do is PROVE one item that broke securities regulations.
That PR was enough for the SEC to commence an investigation.
Your opinion and mine about the matter is irrelevant.
Once the complaint has been made ... the SEC will deal with it as they see fit.

I do know that the Atlanta office of the SEC is concentrating some resources on alternative fuels scams.
