I cannot disagree. I did however, find it an interesting take.
Merely thought it might add to the conversation between yourself and Tal.

There is one comment I would like to add. The shift, which is taking place between pure and applied telecoms devices, and those with internet and office-style apps. is being defined.

The merging (not the tablet pc) of a phone/pda/comms device, is becoming clearer. I feel, personally, without voice control or smart stylus, the tiny keyboard issues are the biggest stumbling block.

The market for desktops, laptops etc. new or replacement, is just not in the volumes of growth, rather on an even keel.
