And watching every movement in the PWC space, I believe we are all still awaiting the exact nature of whether NeoMedia does indeed own the core patent in this field or not. The entire patent issue was something that should have been tested long ago before we ever got to this stage, as we were told time and time again in past ASM's that the patents were solid. Hopefully, that will be determined soon by the PTO and it will be validated once and for all. The other irony here is that Big in Japan developed the 1-d barcode scanning OS for less then $275,000 developer award money from GOOG. How much has NeoMedia spent to date on this technology and does the NeoReader actually read 1-d barcodes, as NeoMedia is understood to be the grandfather of this technology? By the way, these last 2 questions are rhetorical.
