Gavitec in Europe had a tech review on the news where they were showing how 'pay as you go' mobile phones would be sold with NEOM bar code scanners software in them.

Right now in Europe when you top up your mobile phone you have to enter a 16 digit serial number from a receipt. Instead the top-up cards would have a bar code.

Peel off the plastic and scan the bar code, adds credit to your phone without typing in 16 digit numbers. Also much easier to do when your wasted! lol

The great thing about the system is that even if the top up cards are stolen they can cannel the stolen cards.
