Performance Health Technologies, an innovative leader in developing and marketing exercise and rehabilitation products, recently announced the appointment of Tommy Harris to the board of directors.

Harris brings to the board a solid educational background and almost 40 years of experience in business development, operations, and finance. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University and a Masters of Business Administration from Long Island University. He achieved CPA certification and is currently a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Harris currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Vigilant Solutions, LLC, which is a private sector member in the Transportation Security Administrations Registered Traveler Program. Before joining Vigilant, Harris served as CFO and Chief Operating Officer at Remote Management Systems, Inc. Harris served a number of top-level posts, including CFO, during his tenure at AOL Time Warner Inc., an $8 billion media and telecommunications company with more than 30,000 employees and 40 operating divisions. While at Price Waterhouse & Co., he managed general audits and SEC compliance requirements for internal and domestic clients. Harris currently serves as a board member for Vigilant Solutions LLC and for The First Tee of Metropolitan New York.
