BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: HISU - News) is pleased to announce that the Company has placed a Return on Investment (ROI) calculator on its Web site. This calculator approximates the savings companies can experience in fuel costs by using the Cyber Tracker security tracking and asset management products. In a recent two-day trial, a dump truck was remotely found to be idling for five hours. It consumed 0.8 gallons of fuel each hour, which equates to approximately $3,400 annually in wasted fuel.

By inputting data for the company's fleet size, employees per vehicle, average hourly wage, monthly miles driven per vehicle, fuel cost per gallon and fleet average miles-per-gallon, the calculator estimates the approximate savings in fuel as well as other associated costs. These fuel savings also contribute toward reducing dependence on foreign energy and the negative effects of "Greenhouse" gases. Commercial vehicles that burn diesel fuel while idling release 2.5 times the amount of emissions into the atmosphere as they would while burning a gallon of fuel on the road because of incomplete combustion while idling.
