Hi,

I will answer both of your questions. The API is designed for integrating our alerts software into other applications like trading software. You can't code your own alerts and filters with the API.

For the second question you can do that with this filter http://www.trade-ideas.com/Help.html#WSF_MinVol5

In general you are talking about a stock that trades about 1,092,000 shares a day on average. So you can use that as the baseline.
