& Daiello....lost a card of mine (for the 1st time ever) last week...tho I didn't lose it....I didn't notice that it didn't come back w/the bill at a restaurant....was distracted w/yappin ta folks...was one of those school fund raisers where the establishment dontaes a portion of the bill back to the school so the Mrs' was intorducing me to parents/kids/teachers, etc.
Anyway...called the restuarant back that same night & they said they never found it....so I cxl'd the card right away & the cc Co tried hard sellin me one of those fraud protector deals....took approx 5 NO's for'em ta fianlly figure out I wasn't gonna be fear facotred into it....think they saw the balance we carry on that card (aprrox 1-1,500...lol) & figured they saw a big payday comin. I sure got the feeling the operators get a good commish for sellin these BS deals..the higher the revolving bal, the more the operator gets paid kinda thingy for hookin folks. Got the whole schpeil...."...oh it's completely free for the first 30 days & if ya dont like it u can cxl @ at anytime, etc."
I finally got pissey after the 3rd or 4th NO! & said how about I cxl the card all together? That sure got the ball rolling & the call ended approx 20 secs later w/a new card being sent...lol
OK...gettin yelled at here...now y on earth would I be procrastinating steam cleanin?
