Sun is a possible category 2 survivor but it must quickly change to a software and services oriented company that sells Intel based hardware -- Xeon and IPF.

AMD is a clear member of the walking dead. The only part of AMD that will survive is the already severed Dubai Foundry Company. Even then, DFC will only survive as long as Abu Dhabi wants to cover its losses as it tries to compete with TSMC. Probably, 5 years or so from now the financial support will end for DFC and it will follow AMD swirling down the drain.
