jackson question for you regarding wahuq. I read your post about wahuq being first in line to be paid no matter what. I am considering buying some of it as well as wamkq. it seems like a no brainer to own wahuq but I don't understand if it's such a great deal, why is the volume so unbelievably low.and the sp so low. wampq is much more expensive and trading 6x the volume. also I saw in the ibox this statement.
WAHUQ shareholders are subordinate bondholders for WMI.
Holders will get paid after senior unsecured debts, and before other preferred shares of WMI. If WMI doesn't have enough assets to pay off WAHUQ the full $50/share, then the other two preferred stocks will get paid nothing.
that last part is a little scary for us wamkq holders. any idea if this is a likely scenario?
sorry for so many questions but I am new to the whole preferred stock arena.
thanks
