When you can account for more than the tradable float, those shares are Naked Short Sales, aka Phantom shares... do a google search, you'll find some good info on that. VW just went through a squeeze, many people will say the squeeze with spng will be much higher based on amount of phantom shares in play. Doug and Management, and whomever BMAS is buying for know this, management has claimed many times their stock price has been manipulated.

I am interested to see if management is going to PR they have bought back 50 million shares? Game over...
