I think the real action is in anything other than gold. Unfortunately I don't have much oil - SU broke out higher as Frank // Kastelco were discussing.

Whether there is another major gold push - I have no idea, but hope. I am nowhere near as gung ho on that shiny stuff like some of you.

I still have two good positions from the mid-upper $4s of this beauty which has held above the $10 mark..



Anyways your original premise - I agree. The majors may not jump to the moon like the juniors when things get hopping - but you will buy security and less volatility - I assume their hedging is either minimal or non-existent. I have to move into that direction. I have so much junk around me - I feel like Han Solo and Luke in Episode 4 before they rescue the princess.. talking to the hunk of gold..

I have to start breaking down my $$ into various allocations - risk v. less risk and by sector; one or two juniors for fun but thats it. Anything better? Gotta dump what I have instead of going long on something new.

I laugh at myself - how I manage to mangle things up so badly and still come out making money is beyond me.
