Not arguing the point as to whether they deserve the bailout or not but this is the most important part the part the public don't think about. Where are people going to get replacement parts for their vehicles? Where will people get their vehicles serviced as the big 3 set out to put 90% of independant repair shops out of buisness in 1987 and was successful by the early 90's!!!! These are the reasons that the govt won't let them fail. Here is what i see in the near future, The big 3 merge and become 1 and the govt steps up to bat after the merger. All of this jmo of course.
