WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Citing a working capital deficit of $6.9 million as of Dec. 31, 2001 , Earthshell Corp. (ERTH) and its auditor expressed doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
Earthshell said it believes that its existing cash and financing, along with new sources of capital, will enable it to continue funding operations through 2002.
"The company cannot be certain, however, that funding commitments can be obtained on favorable terms, if at all," the filing said.
In its annual report filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company reported getting $14.6 million from the private sale of 12.7 million shares from Jan. 1 through April 10 .
