One more thing...here is why tone has changed. Only four weeks ago the company had 5.5bil shares and they put out a PR stating they are not done and intended to continue to acquire and retire additional shares. Now its four week later and its almost 7bil. What Steve did IMO is nothing short of "false and misleading PR's" and a "PUMP and dump" he couldn't really do a pump in PPS but he was successful in pumping up the daily volume and selling to new shareholders based on his lies. IMO, I also believe that he didn't buy very many of the shares that were retired for a short time because I'm willing to bet he retired insider shares that cost him ZERO $$$$.......and he can always issue more shares to himself if needed to maintain a certain % or ownership. Just think about it....why would he buy and retire shares in the .0001-.0003 range and then turn around and dump shares for .0001

Somatic Systems, Inc. Retires One Half-Billion Shares

NORTHAMPTON, MA--(Marketwire - September 23, 2008) - Somatic Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SMAS) announced today that it has completed its fourth round of share buybacks, retiring another half billion shares of its common stock.

Prior to the beginning of this aggressive buyback program, Somatic Systems had approximately 8 billion shares of common stock issued and outstanding. Cancellation of this round of shares brings the structure down to approximately five-and-a-half billion shares, eliminating over one quarter of the company's stock.

The sizable elimination of shares has all been completed within the one month since Somatic Systems announced it would begin a massive share acquisition and cancellation program, to restructure the company's capital and grow share price without conducting a reverse split of the stock. Furthermore, the company has stated its intention to continue to acquire and retire additional shares.
