Some really splendid reading: Go to http://www.pricewatch.com/ and click on CPU. Except for the very few pentiuM eeK eeK and itaniuM toO entries, all of the higher priced offerings are dominated by AMD products and there does seem to be real depth (pages) to many of them.

I have trouble imagining how this will not have a very real salutary impact on AMD's ASPs with a resultant explosive effect on AMD's earnings. If the onset is not substantially felt this quarter, it will be next quarter.
