Ah, I see where the confusion lies. I'm referring to being marked as read in the database while you're referring to being marked as visited (color changed) in your browser.
When you click on a message from your mailbox, when you go back to your mailbox, it's no longer there, correct? That's because it has been marked as read in the database.
There's nothing I can do about the color change - that's a function of your browser. In most cases it should work correctly since the link is the same. However, if you happen to be using the beta site, the link would be different and therefore not show as visited in your browser. Might that be the case here?
