Hey Hock, no problem. I have admitted several times to being part of the problem. I even admitted it in the second line of my second post last night. I am tired of it, and while I don't care if I am a monitor or not, I do feel I would be fair.
I also agree that the argument about RB and here maybe not counting, but I will point out that they are two different arenas. We all act differently at a "boys night out" than we would at a formal dinner.
I wouldn't have any problems with you being a monitor, because I feel for the most part you would be fair. Gary has engaged in the mind games himself a time or two, but I think he is an excellent monitor and will be fair to both sides.
It is obvious that I am not a cheerleader for FASC and FASC management. I would imagine that many others, besides yourself, would be uncomfortable with me being a monitor.
I don't have any problem at all with Bill being monitor, if he wants it or is willing to take it. I guess that is where I am, I don't want it, but I am willing to take it because I have always felt if you are going to bitch, you should be willing to do what you can to fix the problem. This shouldn't be a popularity contest. I don't even know how the selection is made, but I do know that fairness should be more important than being the best cheerleader. The responsibility of being a monitor should be taken seriously and not as a mandate that your views are the only ones allowed.
