Caught my limit this morning before 9:30. Only kept three though. Too many people attending the festivities for me to have fun.
Tried smoking trout once. Couldn't keep the dang thing lit.
Salmon are even worse. Ran out of matches.
We will have these three for dinner tonight. They were large enough to filet, and I will make up packs in Aluminum foil.
Pack will contain one onion slice, two tomato slices and two trout filets. I will add a tablespoon of butter and a slug of lemon juice. Takes about 20 minutes on the barbie.
Mouth is watering now.
