Well curiously enough I just got a call from a friend who has decided to replace a MBP with a Dell because (essentially) equivalent hardware is half the price from Dell.

The Apple Tax is back, I'm afraid, big time.

Which is a roundabout way of saying I wouldn't be surprised by $75 between now and six months from now, either.
