BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - October 15, 2008) - View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VSYM) announced today that effective October 14, 2008, the ticker symbol changed from VYST to VSYM.

Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems, states, "We will continue to develop our security product sales and distribution network into additional regions and markets in the United States and abroad.

"Going forward our plan is to raise additional funds through common stock offerings to provide capital to finance several acquisitions, reduce our debt and integrate several new technologies.
