OT - Fox, I was not necessarily speaking about individuals, forget about Saddam's and Ahmedinejad's, they come and they go and there will always be people like them, but about the Iraqi people throughout history and you could hardly call
them uncivilized or illiteral. You're right in saying that
women need better education, although there are plenty of
well-educated women.
The flagellations are definitely not done by refined intellectuals, at least not here in Bahrain. They stay far away from it, rightly so.
