Yes, dismal poll numbers will do that!

Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama for president today on MEET THE PRESS, but what was more surprising than Powell's endorsement was how far he went to criticize the type of divisive campaign the Repub presidential candidate is running, how he handled the economic crisis, AND his choice of Palin for veep, someone clearly "not ready to be president".

Addressing Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama for president, conserv columnist David Brooks put it this way today on ABC's Sunday morning show THIS WEEK..."the Repub party is narrowing and they can either attack Colin Powell or recognize their problem".
