Conversation with Gene:
First I asked why there were no PRs this week and he said that he and Ron were flat out too busy to sit down and write one. I said that is what an IR firm is for and he said that he still has to tell them what to write and keep them abreast of what is happening with the company.
There are great things happening but some he can't divulge right now.
He said they had to stop the weekly revenue updates from the cards when a vendor complained that we were just giving his competition a heads up.
Second, I asked why the PRs couldn't be put out earlier in the day and he said he would try but Business Wire was sometimes 20 minutes and sometimes a few hours (could be the size of the company??my thought).
Lastly, he said he is working on the long term success of the company and right now he feels that the stock can maintain its own while he works on the deals that will take us to NASDAQ.
I support his efforts and although I told him that I want to be able to say that he has always come through as promised and he didn't come through from that Oct. news release that promised more info later in the week, he said there was a good reason for that but couldn't give me details. Suffice it to say it was out of the company's control.
He said he would try to get a news release out soon to "appease the masses" LOL.
He also pointed out that all the people he has started doing business with have become believers in the company and that is where he thinks the bigger buys are coming from.
Overall a very good and very positive conversation!!
