Well Star, misery does love company, so I am glad I have a compatriot who has been pimped badly by the market. Anyway, I have resigned myself to a period of prolonged agony capped by the inevitable return to socialism and general dumbassery that is the platform of one Barack Hussein Obama.
I think the deathknell for capitalism has been struck in this country capped by the bailout accompanied with the 'temporary' (yeah, right - Saul Alinsky Jr will permanize that)nationalization of the banking industry.
Over the past year I have had a deep renewal of my faith, and as such have decided that this country is mired in the muck of materialism and greed and generally turning completely away from God. I am reminded of the Old Testament books of Samuel when the people did the same and then clamored for a king. God gave them Saul. Check the Book, that didn't turn out so well. Guess what, the good ole US of A is about to get another Saul. Perhaps then will we finally take responsibility for our own actions, turn towards God, and if nothing else, reject the moral relativism that has so permeated every aspect of our society.
However, because of my faith, my family and my friends (which includes the two aforementioned people), I worry not about what the many tumultuous tomorrows bring.
