Wow, 50% on candlestick patterns can be attributed mainly to chance (pure chance would be 50%; you're right and wrong half the time anyway...); 70% is getting better, but as you posted it often only occurs with severe or rare patterns. Interesting, I'll have to check this out more sometime.
