Seems there were a few decent trades during the London & early NY session....VN...love hearin the coupla hundred pipers ;))

W/re to the bailout....here's an idea (tho seemingly too late)

What about forcing to pay for this mess through a securities speculation tax -- starting with a tax on derivatives?

Seems w/all the money that's sure to flow back in sooner or later (tho mostly goin out these days..lol) imposing a minimal tax on all new positions could at least pay for some (if not all over time) of this mess.

It just kills me that this bailout was forced upon us so fast...especially this particular plan w/all its' pork ta boot.

I think those who choose to continue playin the stock equities should bear some of this burdon...after all, this is where the profits were to begin with...at least there for the taking a yr ago @ 14K+ for those who had the smarts to take some off the table at the time.

Seems there's sooo many other, better ways this could have been handled.
