Consult the free legal advice from the legal clinic nearest you are google for your area and go on line and then talk to them on the phone or whatever you get 30 minutes of free legal help from most State Bar or County Bar Associations. These are lawyers who donate their time. It is very rewarding to make a meeting and then go in person with your note pad and even a tape recorder so you miss nothing. In small claims there are many TV programs on the major stations Judge Alex, Judge Judy and so on which show you the procedures Sunshine. Hope this helps.
