What the heck's with this Sempron garbage?

I agree. AMD has invested years in building the Duron brand. It makes absolutely no sense to toss away all that goodwill that they paid for with previous marketing dollars.

Maybe AMD's marketing director should go back to school to take marketing 101 again.
