Question for anybody. If I sell my long term shares monday and wait for 30 days to repurchase, will I be able to write off my long term losses this year for GTEM. I think the answer is yes, right?

The second question is when I repurchase my shares in GTEM will that start a new cost basis since I waited 30 days to buy the stock again?

The third question is if I don't have any long term gains to use the long term losses against. Will I be able to cary the long term loss over to the next year and subsequent years until it is used up?
