Thanks for the kind replies. I decided to go with TD Ameritrade. No more large order surcharges and the ability to place sub penny orders is a winner for me.
It is my understanding Etrade has a large order surcharge too:
"For orders involving securities listed on a national securities exchange (i.e., "listed securities") a fee of $0.015 per share will apply to that portion of the order that exceeds 2,000 shares."
The transfer of my Sharebuilder positions is actualy free of charge from both brokerages. I mailed the stock transfer forms this morning and it should only take a few weeks at most. Hopefully by then, KRON will have been sold, and YBTVA will be well over a dollar! GLTYA
