I would also add that it is a philosophical difference....Republicans are usually on the side of capitalism and avoiding regulation in free markets....which is exactly how we got here (only to a degree....there is more than enough blame to go around for just about everyone, except my dog...but I am sure he did something else).

Mama and Daddy always said it's how you play the game - trade to trade well and the rest will fall into place ;-)
