PTA Holdings Launches Asian Division; PTA Names Veteran Asian Business Leader to Lead Its Asian Operations

CLEVELAND, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/26/08 -- PTA Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PTAH) announced today that it is launching an Asian Pacific Division. The Company also announced that it has named Tony ("Myong") S. Shin as its President. Mr. Shin is a recognized Asian business leader with a proven track record both in the United States and throughout Asia. Mr. Shin received his MBA in the United States in 1973 and currently is Chairman of IMRS/GHC Group which maintains offices in both Michigan and South Korea.

Mr. Shin expressed, "I am delighted to join PTA Holdings in the capacity of President of its Asia Pacific division. I am also extremely pleased to address the high fuel costs that are currently strangling the truck fleets throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim. PTA's technologies will provide a tremendous resource to help rein in fuel costs in these markets."

PTA's core motor oil product consists of a premium blend of synthetic and Paraffin-based motor oils with proprietary additives that significantly reduce friction in piston-fired cylinders, thereby creating fuel savings of up to 30%.
