There have been sucessful tests with VOIP also! And of course you are speculating, we all are. BT is the only one with an open solution that can work with several vendors, so it is not strange that they are the first ones who ha gotten this to work. Remember that they have teamed up with other companies in their Alcatel and Ericsson offerings, this is to solve som challenges. For instance you can check out Speedwise from Orsus that are solving som compressing problems together with BT. The Nortel agreement is the only agreement which don`t involve other companies (Alcatel=Alcate/Gemplus and BT). That is way I am saying that Nortel is not 100% behind this. The Nortel agreement is driven by others who have tested and wants the BT client!
