The Core:Tx® medical application is a motion-sensing system that allows users to gain visual feedback on their movements to enhance motor learning and manage muscular re-education. The Core:Tx® system for medical professionals is a remarkably versatile therapy tool. The system comes with several straps that can be attached to different joints or muscle groups, such as the hip, knee, ankle, spine, shoulder, and wrist.
Performance Health created Core:Tx® for stroke survivors, and it has a set of pre-calibrated exercises available for the following joint areas and muscle groups; shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, and ankle. Because the device does not stimulate movement, it is necessary for the stroke survivor to be able to move their affected limb on their own.
