There is so much permanent money infecting politics because of permanent election cycles that this game will never end.


Oddly enough, the old McCain had that right. Whic is of course why he is so distrusted by the base... and why he had to saddle himself with the rapture right and grab Sarah Palin to shore up the flank there.

Meanwhile it's entirely true, and sad as well, that the only ones who haven't taken the money are the ones not in office anymore. It costs too much to run for public office. It's ruined us.
