Jerry, Greg may a better handle on the financing of the surf flick than I do. But if memory serves, Da Boyz including corporate board members formed a limited partnership called Top Secret, sic Productions. Ray-Ray was most-probably a limited partner. The limited partnership ran the revenues from the surf flick through their books; to the best of my recollection, although an independent audit was promised, no results of the audit were ever reported to shareholders in NVEI. The important element that Greg was pointing out to the toadyToddddd was that the financing was largely done on debt; Da Boyz got the publicly-traded corporation to go out on the limb for a couple of million bux to produce the film with debt instruments. When the notes matured, the notes were dishonored. The creditors sued in the civil courts of California, and, just as hard discovery was about to take place, a third party at arm's length The Mystery Man stepped up the plate and offered an Irrevocable Line of Credit to pay off the creditors. Who was that Mystery Man??? Contact Greg for fuller details. All IMHO.
