I asked John Howell, "What connection does Dr. Greaves have to Microsoft? Do you think Microsoft has any awareness of the NVEI tech?" JH replied,
"The connection between Microsoft and Cambridge University is well known. I don't think there is a corporate/academic connection that rivals it. The connection between Dr. Greaves and Cambridge University is also well known. The desire for Microsoft to be a major influencer of the Internet is well known. The introduction of the X-box is an entry level product for networked interactive gaming that could very well lead into a demand for the delivery of interactive video content that the current networks are not capable of handling. The desire for New Visual to be a major player in speeding up current networks is well known."
