However, keep in mind that Bedford's share of that is a whole lot less, when you consider the various royalty owners that are paid out of that.
For example, as you probably know, mineral rights owners typically get 1/8 to 1/4 share (12.5% - 25%) royalty payments right off the top. Others who put up money get various percentages, based on their participation levels.
Some of the Avalon PR's hint at how much working interest Bedford had in the Grace field, since Avalon bought all Bedford's interests, but not that of the remaining royalty recipients.
Granted, the lack of information from Bedford's HQ IS an ongoing source of aggravation . . . . But with access to the OCC website and other sources (such as Avalon's website while sale of the East Chandler Field progresses) does allow us to keep informed to some degree.
We've definitely been left in a D-I-Y situation.
