LTG...yep everyone should reread the update...it out lines the steps for military application...
1)First they paid for the demonstration prototype laser...DONE
2)Now we’re working to propose and receive a contract for the engineered laser which we’ll take the prototype laser as our base line, and engineer it to be small and meet military specs for in field use, with the laser specification they need. The customer pays for this (estimated to be over $2,500,000..COMING UP SHORTLY
3)Once we deliver this product and it meets the requirements they specified, they order in quantities they need (estimates of over a thousand units) with spare lasers and parts.
at 300K per unit a thousand units would be $300 million dollar contract.... Battis says he expects to deliver the laser to the military by third-quarter 2009...so this isn t going to happen over night...
BUT there is lots to come in the next 30 days...heres some hints..
