I had a conversation with my nephew today regarding the time it takes for CROs to run trials and provide analysis to the customer. My nephew is a medical director at one of the 3 largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. I asked him to read numerous postings from this board re: the poor management of Stoll and company as to the delays in getting results for the RD1 study. Those of you who blame Cortex's executives would really not want to hear his comments; but to summarize, he basically called you "uninformed". He went on to talk about numerous delays his $35-billion company has experienced with CROs and how frustrating it is to wait for the analysis. He stressed the uncharted territory that Cortex is embracing and the difficulty in obtaining a timely response from Parexcel. Based upon this information, I think the executives of Cortex deserve an apology from those of you who lambast them.
