Yes it did.....it's what MSFT is all about......will they reinvent the embedded wheel ? Have they the ability to come up with a novel simplistic foundation ? If "Mehdi" is hinting between the lines....it better be versatile to keep the wheel turning.

The MOS is built on a simple foundation, I see no way for them to come up with a simpler structure..from the under side where the patents are . ..However, there is tremendous room for improvement from the top side.
