I just got off the phone with a rep at HKBV. I was told "They are in negotiations right now", I asked for clarification "You mean they are in the building?", he stated "Yes, everyone involved in the [merger] is IN THE OFFICE meeting and a statement could come as early as this afternoon." Whomever the merger involves, they are in town for the weekend and it sounds like they want this hashed out today. Not a lot of news. I have no specific info. That is just what I was told EXACTLY as I was told. I can tell you there was excitement in his voice though!
