Linus confirms April Fool's joke

Ok, there's a largish 2.5.8-pre1 patch out there in testing right now.

It syncs up with various sources over the last two weeks - notably USB,
networking, sparc, net drivers, and the beginning of the -dj tree merge.
Some of the merges are known incomplete (eg some drivers do not compile
etc), but testing is always a good idea.

Changelog appended.

PS. For people who still haven't noticed - the "I'm leaving Linux and
Transmeta" email was a April fools joke (and not written by me, btw, so
don't credit me for being funny)
