PFMH.OB Brings Relief into the Home

Performance Health Technologies, Inc. is a company that develops and markets performance evaluation and rehabilitation products that monitor and guide exercise and give real-time motivational feedback. A new product showcased by Performance Health is the Core:Tx Home Therapies.

The Core:Tx is a computer program that was developed for stroke survivors to provide motivation for therapy activities done in the home without the supervision of a healthcare professional. The Core:Tx home stroke therapy program will use the patent pending MotionTrack technology to help guide users through a series of pre-set exercises that can be done using the affected arm or leg without any supervision.

The Core:Tx may be one of the first products to set a trend of allowing patients to help themselves and recover from traumatic physical difficulties in the comfort of their own home while using a desktop or laptop computer.

Performance Health is a New Jersey-based company led by Angela Povia and Dominique Prunetti. Povia is the Marketing Manager for Performance Health. Povia joined the company in June of 2006 after a successful career as a marketing research analyst for the national sales team at the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News.

Dominique Prunetti serves as Performance’s Investor Relations and Operations Manager. One of Prunetti’s duties is to act as a liaison between Performance Health Corporate Office and the company shareholders. Prunetti has a long-term career in finance that includes working for Merrill Lynch, where she was a team leader for the company’s Consults Diversified Portfolio’s product.

With Povia and Prunetti leading the way, Performance Health is bringing unsupervised healthcare into the home to help help themselves.
