Such is the unpredictability of doing business in SA. However, this immediate crisis has yet to affect Golden Eagle. No laws or policies have been changed. Bolivia actually likes the approach that Golden Eagle has taken. Wasn't it Golden Eagle who pioneered the way with free medical clinics for the poor, and the offering of decent jobs? Bolivia stands to take in generous taxes from these foreign companies.

I hope that the good realtionship stays that way, and that the politics of the day doens't spill over into our business.
