Don't go nuts on me...

Deerhunter was a male movie... saw it the day it opened in Manhattan with the current boyfriend... I thought it was a piece of crap... he was devastated...

From my POV... did not see the motivation for going back in there... too many obvious symbolic shots... one of which was the last supper.

You're a guy... ergo you get it and I can't...

Cimino went on to prove his mediocrity with Heaven's Gate... saw that circa opening with a cinematographer boyfriend ... we went to check out an X million dollar failure... when he got home he received word that his dad had died while we were at the movie. Still believe his dad was taken to a finer place because we were seeing him through Heaven's Gate when it happened.

Silly me.
