(WM), American Banker reported Friday, citing sources. Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan, and Alan Fishman, the new chief executive of WaMu, are involved in the discussions. The deal, which reportedly does not involve the government, could be completed this this weekend, although it is still in flux, the sources cautioned.
