Yes, I noticed that. I think that a possible explanation for these short lived rallies is that THEY try to induce a cascade of short-coverings. If it does not work, THEY give up. But when they do that, they unveil the fact that this is only a fake move. And then , what is the probability that it will be followed by another stronger move later, on a Friday afternoon… after lunch at the Four Seasons? I think: less probable because the morning test was expensive and did not bring the expected results. We shall see…
