Theres really no one around to bail them out. The govt has its hands tied with FNM and FRE. JP Morgan has the Bear Stearns Portfolio. Bank of America has Countrywide Financial. Even in the remotest of scenarios, BAC has a slim chance of bailing out LEH.
At the end of after hours trading, LEH was down another $0.38 to close at $3.81. Doesn't sound like a higher open to me...
